Strategic Plan


• Provide quality program offerings that are relevant, timely, and applicable to members.

• Continue providing relevant Power Lunch presentations with web based evaluations
• Survey sub groups for training topics
• Targeted On-line courses within one year
• Registrations/Certification On-line courses by August 2007
• Develop aligning courses with Universities to lead to a governmental accounting degree
• Develop a plan to grow our own school business officials

• Implement tactics to actively involve ALASBO members in training the Professional Stature and Role of the members by engaging members in State and National Professional Development Conferences, impacting statewide K-12 issues and legislative activities.

• Outreach to current & Potential members - Power Lunches "want to be included" what topics will be good
• Celebrate Success-gather ideas — Meet/greet new members/attendees at conference
• Continue annual legislative fly-in
• Interact with State Legislative Committees
• Invite other organizations to attend ALASBO functions and participate in other related educational organizations.

• Ensure Stability of Association

• Update Website monthly
• Thoroughly seek grant funding to supplement the associations revenue
• Market for Fall Conference to increase participation
• Review, revise & Implement dues structure
• Partnering with other organizations to maximize resources
• Maintain a long term Marketing Plan
• Formulate a 3-year financial plan
