New Business Manager Institute (NBMI)
ALASBO is pleased to offer an opportunity for those new to school business (< 3 years) and those aspiring to become business managers (within 1-3 years) in Alaska. Oregon ASBO has successfully used this program for 10 years; the New Business Manager Institute (NBMI) is a three-year program designed to deliver an in-depth program through a series of in-person and virtual sessions, instructed by experienced school business practitioners.
The NBMI program is also supported by a number of ALASBO members who are current practitioners serving as mentors to the program.
