Melody Douglas will take on the role of ALASBO Executive Director in 2019. Melody retired from a 30-year career with Kenai Peninsula Borough School District in 2009 and has since been working as a contractor to assist school district around the state. She is a Past President of ALASBO (1996), of ASBO International (2006), a recipient of ALASBO’s School Business Official of the Year Award (2007) and she previously served as ALASBO’s Executive Director from 1998 to 2002.
